  • I am currently working on writing Scratch curriculum and lessons for K-5, I also am good at the iPad and apps for learning, also I run our district student created media festival, Signal To Noise, that has K-12 students creating 5 minute videos for certain categories like animation, PSA, newscasting, etc.

  • I am not technologically very sophisticated but I am involved in supporting education in a remote village in Pakistan and use Facebook to engage the teachers and the community. I would happily share a case study around establishing, maintaining and developing this educational transformation (IBERR Global Village School, Sang Khurd, Tehsil and District Chakwal) with all its challenges since my wife and I began this initiative in April 2014.

In our district, we have what is called "Traveling Tech Tubs" where teachers can sign up using a Google Calendar/Google Forms to have a tub in their classroom. We have also used the traveling tech tubs as our January tech challenge for the district. This has spark an interest in the OSMOs where teachers have chosen donorschoose.com in order to order more technology for their classrooms. 
  • I would be interested in understanding what you would want to hear about. I don't think I have any practical experience in the sector to describe any Use Cases, or presume to be an expert. I can talk more generally about technology that connects Physical environments to the digital world.

I am also happy to talk on the topic of my last two books, one which explores seven critical issues in contemporary education, and another that provides tips and insights on leading innovation in your school. I'm also starting on a documentary about the limitations of the letter grade system and could do something on that topic. A final topic of interest is some recent work that I've done on how to identify educational trends that are likely to stick and grow.
